![]() Dear Parents, Many online options are now available for viewing at home. Douglas Unified School District purchased many student licenses so students and their families can now access a wealth of information from the comfort of their home. The end-user would typically pay for the license, but DUSD acquired them as part of its textbook adoption plan. Please take advantage of these great programs: Pearson Successnet: All students in the district are registered with Pearson Successnet, a textbook publisher Web site where students can access their entire Literature, Math, and Science textbooks online. In addition, there are practice games, workbook pages, and great videos of teachers re-explaining lessons from class. Contact your child’s teacher or the front office if you have not received your login username and password. My Guide Online: Students at Paul Huber Middle School have been enrolled in the “My Guide” program for intervention use. My Guide uses your child’s test scores from quarterly benchmark assessments to see where the student is weak in. The program then generates a custom packet for students to use with their teachers in the classroom. Along with the paper packet, there is also an online tuorial at www.myguideonline.com Usernames and passwords are supplied by the classroom teachers. Powerschool: Many parents are unaware of Powerschool, where parents can access their child’s up-to-date grades and attendance any time. Please contact Terri Quijada in the front office for your username and password. The program offers a great way for parents to stay involved in their children's education. It's a great school year already. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at 364-2840, ext. 6304 if you have any concerns or questions. Sincerely,
