PTSO/Site Council meeting will be held @ 6pm in the DHS cafeteria on Wednesday Sept. 1st. PTSO will nominate/elect officers. Site Council will vote in parent/teacher/community members. We are seeking interested parents/community members to participate on our site council. (Article 3.1 “decentralization process” ARS 15-351 re: school councils)

“Placement Review Committee” was selected according to ARS 15-841 specifications at a recent faculty meeting. The committee selected is Ron Ellsworth, Vicente’ Abril, Paula Beacom & Alexa Hernandez (alternate) with Randy Walker, asst. principal of curriculum/instruction,  as the administrator. The PRC reviews a teacher’s request to place a student into another section in the same content area using this ADE established appeal process. Training for committee members will be scheduled.
